With the TARP money finally trickling down to the American people, jobs are beginning to be offered to the un-employed.  The nations jobless rate is holding steady at 10% and President Obama just implemented a new program to help rebuild roads, weatherize homes, and improve cities to help bring more jobs to jobless Americans.  The economy is finally getting the jump start it needs to start pulling us out of this recession.  With the holiday’s right around the corner, many people are more concerned about buying gifts for their family and friends than they are about looking for a new home to buy.  This means that renting is the current trend of most Americans.

Its a well known fact that more Americans are renting these days than ever before!  Home loans are too hard to get for the average consumer that may have a few dings on their credit report.  These people that have less than perfect credit still need a place to rest their head, and that means they will rent.  Because of this large rise in renters, there is a rise in employing property managers and offering jobs in property management to people who have the skills to manage and keep track of rentals.  The market is huge for investors who own several homes that are now all being rented out.  These investors don’t have the time to keep track of all their properties, so they are hiring for property management jobs.

The other large market is apartment complexes and condiminium complexes.  Will all of the buildings being filled to capacity, these large companies are employing hundreds of property managers to keep track of maintenance, payment collection, and advertising to new renters who are looking for a place to stay.  Most large companies will even offer you free rent on a place within the complex, on top of paying you a salary just to be hired on as a property manager.  Investors are paying property managers quite handsomely as they want to ensure that their properties stay in ship shape and that the rental money is collected every month and on time.

Now is a great time to get into the business if you are interested as rent levels are at an all time high.  If you are serious about making a difference and jump starting your career, property management jobs are definitely a great choice.  Take advantage of the recovering economy and join the property management force today!
