Switch Careers, Become A Property Manager

With the economy in shambles, many people are looking for a way to switch careers in a field of industry that is booming.  Many look in the medical field, but did you know that property management jobs are at an all time high?  That’s right, and who is to blame for this increase in jobs?   The bad economy.  How can a bad economy create more jobs?  The answer is that when times are tough, less people can qualify for homes to buy.  This has hurt the housing market tremendously, but it has increased the renting industry ten fold.  Property management firms are looking to hire property managers right and left to help them handle the demand for new rentals.  If you want a good career, getting a property management job is the way to go.

So how much do property managers make?  Property managers make between $36,000 and $55,000 per year.  The money is definitely a great reason to look into this career, but the best part is that you can make this type of money in this type of job without any formal schooling.  That’s right!  No certifications or degree required.  Obviously if you had those things, they can only help you get hired, but they are not a requirement in order to apply for the job.  If you are looking to get hired quickly, the best thing to do  is to actually walk into a local property management firm and find out what positions they are hiring for. By doing this, you will be able to get a better idea of what positions are available while also being able to get the information that you need in order to make a good and educated decision.

As you can see, property management jobs are the way to go if you want to switch careers.  By being a friendly person, and having the ability to manage time well, you will be able to get into this type of career with ease.
